Romantic Cattle Egret Pair
Cattle Egret Pair getting romantic while courting in a field full of yellow flowers. The birds are in breeding plumage, easily recognizable by the buff colouring on the plumes on their head and neck. The legs and bill turn red. In non-breeding plumage the birds are completely white with a yellow bill and dark legs.
Taken in south-east Queensland, Australia.
