Description

The painting shows Norman Maclean in the foreground and is based on a beautiful photo by Veronica Wald. Maclean was the author of River Runs Through It and other marvelous stories. The background of the painting is changed from the background of the photo, to make it appear more like Maclean is on the Blackfoot River which was the depicted in A River Runs Through It. The Blackfoot was a favorite fly fishing spot of Maclean and his brother and is now a favorite of the painter. Thanks to Veronica for a gorgeous photo to work from.
