About Michael Manning
Michael Manning is a visual artist and photographer. After several years as a photojournalist working in Boston for the Associated Press, the Boston Globe, the Boston Phoenix among other news clients, he turned to magazine portraiture and documentary work. Traveling and creating portfolios in Brazil, Cuba, Costa Rica and throughout the US he has more recently focused his energy on creating these double exposure landscape photographs which are as unique as they are beautiful. Often haunting and suggestive, surreal and at times painterly, the images are each a world unto themselves. He shoots professionally in New England and beyond and is available for corporate assignments, family portraiture and events.
