This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

A group of friendly dragons racing their toy sailboats on a stream. I painted this piece quite a while ago as a bit of imaginary fun. As well as the dragons, look for dragonflies, a squirrel, butterfly and bird around the water, trees and shrubs.
About Hermione Jaschinski
Hermione Jaschinski was born in Toronto, Ontario in the sixties. When she was young she was inspired by her parents' collection of art books filled with art from around the world. Her father would read stories to her and her siblings and they would draw illustrations while listening. From kindergarten to grade twelve she attended the Toronto Waldorf School where artistic expression was heavily emphasized. After high school she spent four years at the University of Toronto. She took courses in both fine art (studio) and English. Following her years of study there she focused most of her time on other interests: horse-back riding, competing and teaching riding, but she continued with her artistic pursuits as well.
