This is a painting of my brothers VK Holden Commodore “big banger” Bathurst tribute car. This car was one half of the Racing team driven by John Harvey and David Parsons “Skippy”. No. 25. The other car was driven by the famous Peter Brock and Larry Perkins in the No.5 race car.
About Jeanine Gibbons
Art, painting and drawing has remained quietly in the background since I was a small child. I would have little creative bursts where I would want to draw what I was seeing and learn more about how to develop my skills, although never really committing enough time to my little passion. As I’ve grown older I have realised that I have neglected this side of myself and not seen painting as a valuable way of spending my time. Finally I have arrived at a stage in life where my situation allows me more time, the kids are old enough and off to school. It is now that I can devote my precious time to rediscover my talents and excitement with painting and drawing. I live in the beautiful Marlborough Sounds in New Zealand and love painting the...
